We work hard to not only keep our community safe, but also beautiful!

Once you become a tenant of The 02908 Club, you will also become a resident of Providence and this neighborhood. Our tenants have always taken great pride in their neighborhood, and enjoy working with us to help keep it beautiful.

Neighborhood Cleanups

We periodically put together neighborhood cleanups which we will email or text you about in advance but if you want to do a cleanup for your school club or organization, your sorority or fraternity, or just out of the kindness of your heart, you can always reach out to Shannon.

Christmas Donations

During the holiday season, many of our tenants and their parents will donate either a toy or even a cash donation that will be used to purchase toys for children here in our community who may otherwise not receive any on Christmas morning. The 02908 Club is proud to match all contributions, so if our tenants and parents contributed $1,000, for example, we will put $1,000 of our own money towards the purchase of toys! Imagine the looks on the faces of the organizations when The 02908 Club and our tenants pull up with a truckload of toys!

Adopt A Highway

The 02908 Club is proud to sponsor a 2 mile stretch of Smith Street through the Adopt A Highway program for the State of Rhode Island. On a quarterly basis, we will give the opportunity to our tenants to help clean up Smith Street. We provide all of the materials needed (gloves, safety vests, trash bags, etc.), and our tenants provide the eagerness and willingness to contribute to their community.

Other Projects

Turkey Donations

Each year at Thanksgiving, we raise funds to purchase approximately 3,000 turkeys which are then distributed to Rhode Island shelters, churches, schools, community centers, soup kitchens and other organizations that help the needy.

Planting Trees

For the last several years, we have worked closely with the City of Providence to plant trees in front of our houses as well as many other houses in the area.
